Nice looking lumber...spalting gives it real eye appeal. While we don't have sweet gum in upstate NY, we do have beech. I'll have to watch for it. The most common spalted lumber we get is Maple...really nice stuff.


Seems like you were having a real day out there in the mill. Some days you can't get the right works to come out. Thanks for the good wishes and I hope you had a nice Christmas and that New Year will be awesome.

Also, I really liked the view of you operating the hydraulics getting the wood on there. It looked like you cut some out while you were struggling. I think it would have been even better to leave that in to see what you have to go through to get the log on there straight.
