Beautiful wood that Beech! That spalting and inner grain made it look like a tree within a tree should make some beautiful tables in the future!

I bought my draw knife but the blade needed some serious sharpening. I think you'll enjoy it though!! Just keep everything sharp!!!

that beech is special, theres some nice tables there.
i may have suggested this to you before, but have you considered building a small solar kiln? little to no running costs, cheap to build, and will dry your boards out in a matter of weeks, cheers ;0)

Beautiful grain! Don't see that in the Southeast United States. We have pine (which turns yellow with time), Water Oak and Live Oak (very hard wood). Those grains tend to fade rather quickly and the pattern is lost.
