They are not "afraid" they simply do not want to loose their power or wealth by following the constitution or their oath. If doing the right thing would be the way to keep their power, then they would do it.

This from the man who voted twice for Trump, worked on his 2016 transition team, prepped him for debates against both Hillary and Biden and then applied but was rejected for the job of attorney general. Disgruntled maybe?

There's a couple of points that keep coming back to me regarding what Chris Christie is saying and after I listen to these two IRS whistleblowers. First off not them or Christ were there the day the DA and Hunter's lawyer met, so they have NO idea what was negotiated. The one IRS whistleblower also admitted that they were not able to obtain the evidence to prove there was a felony, they are speculating without proof. This also tells me that it was very possible that Hunter's lawyer may have brought into the room with the DA information that proved what was on the tax returns had validity. These are reasons for me to have doubt about Chris Christies' statment and what the IRS guys have stated. And of course the fact that much of this happened under the Trump administration (2016, 2017, & 2018), NOT UNDER THE BIDEN administration. So, the DA was appointed by Trump, the IRS was appointed by Trump, now ask yourself why would Trump's people not want to prosecute if there was valid information? Their opinions make no sense at all unless there was valid evidence provided, which there appears NOT to have been.
