Chris Christie has earned my respect then lost it, then earned it again. Humbleness goes far and shows that he is always learning and more importantly, OPEN to seeing viewpoints other than his own. He has shown he can regroup and redirect. He isn’t a slave to his ego.

he’s right that we all make mistakes, a lot of mistakes throughout our lives. admitting & learning from them makes us better people. denying them/blaming others shows a lack of moral compass, ethics of that individual. those kind of people shouldn’t be in positions of power over the rest of us
