Excellent video. I did not realize that Thonny could connect directly to the NodeMCU. My Windows 10 is not currently seeing the NodeMCU, but I can see it on my Raspberry Pi. I will look further into it. Nice to know Thonny can be a one-stop-shop for firmware updates, programming and executing MicroPython on an ESP8266. Bad ass.
