They needed to make it a Supra competitor or really cheap. They failed to do both smh.

I bought my Nissan z performance model from the dealership in Canada for 48k CAD that’s $34 USD. The car was owned by the dealerships manager and only had 3k kms on it, practically brand new!

its a platform from 2003 with slightly different body work, slightly better interior, an engine from 10 years ago and dealers that sabotaged whatever hype and interest people had when it first released. Now its even older news and everyone has long since moved on.

The 370Z and 350Z are still selling despite being obsolete. You can get a Nismo 370Z with the Tech package for the price of a new, base model Z.

I just bought one.. I was actually at the dealership when they just took in a new Z performance 6 months ago but they told me it was pre-sold and the asking price was 66k!!

However, I went in yesterday for service and I saw the same dang car so I went up to them and said "I Thought this was already sold or going to sell fast?" Then they said " Every single person that comes in for it backs out or says they need time to think about it but never come back" I told them I wasn't even interested in it anymore after they declined me the first time but then they hit me with the "It's actually 50k now after the corporate rebates and no markup" I said fugggg it run my credit.

Back in 21-22 my locals Nissan had a good amount of inventory and they were charging $5k over sticker price, that was a bad idea Nissan.

A new Nismo Z is overpriced. They are selling for the mid-60k in my area. I just bought a pre-owned 2023 M4 Competition Xdrive with 9k miles for 10k more than the Nismo is selling for. Nissan definitely needs to come down of the price by about 15k-20k.

They literally killed their own cars buzz. Its quite insane what they allowed and did nothing to prevent with the obvious dealer price gauging. As a former 350Z new car buyer 2X i will never look at the brand the same with the Z, they allowed their dealers to really bury the Z into irrelevance. To see Zs go for the price of Lexus, BMW, and performance cars is quite a departure from what the Z stood for. Rememeber what those Proto Zs went for ...talk about a loss on ROI with that car. I have no pity on Nissan because they did it to themselves and couldve stopped it. Truly unfortunate for fans of the Z like myself at one time.

I see it as the expensive model 86.. It's a sleek, sexy little sports car that just looks best wrapped around a female.

They should’ve made in 2016 when they made the 3.0t red sport,

My 370z just got total and I’m switching to the Supra lol, can’t justify buying one of these for the price they asking.

Dude needs to edit the headline. It says “not 10K off”. Misleading.

the sport should be 35, performance manual should be around 45/46 and the nismo should be around 50... They told enthusiasts they cut costs to keep prices down, then turned around and allowed their dealers charge porsche money for these cars. At that point, and they STILL have markup, might as well just wait and buy used

Ok so the Z isn’t working. Move aside Nissan. Can it be Mitsubishi’s turn now? They’re still in a partnership right?
