well GM said they only made the cadillac sixteen as sort of a parts car, if you notice the 2008 and up regular CTS looks alot like the sixteen, they will take parts of that car and put it into their new ones

i dont know what the case is with the cien though

@disbsam333 I won't deny that the CTS-V is a BEAST of a car and I would seriously give my left testicle for one. BUT, the new 2011 WRX STI that literally is 20k less trumped it on the nurburgring by FOUR seconds! The reason I am stating this is that companies are so competitive now days things are getting less expensive and faster! Subaru did an amazing job with that machine, and you can drive it in the winter!

@disbsam333 the m5's v10 engine was designed for the 7 speed smg gearbox. the 6 speed manual was just an afterthought for the american market.

Did you see the TopGear when they traveled to the saltflats? Mays really liked his CTS-V in the mountain roads, and they said they really liked the Corvette, the Challanger, and the CTS-V. I'm pretty sure it was this past season, too.

@t6658: Have no worries my friend. Cadillac has a suprise for us next Monday (01-11-10). It is called the Cadillac XTS and its heavily influenced by the Sixteen. Oh, and that Cien may not see production, at least for now, but a scaled down version (you may know as the Cadillac Converj) is heading to production in the form of a hybrid (booo!) but at least we get to see its striking styling on the road! All that and I didnt even mention the new Cadillac ATS (3series and C-class) or Next Escalade!

I ate my words too dude. I was HIGHLY upset at the XTS. Its starting to grow on me some because I have looking @ EVERY single pic on the net of it live and in other pics. Idk what the next Escalade will be based on but I hope they dont mess with that formula to much. The ATS will be more of a pleasant suprise than the XTS, I hope...

My friend has a GTR, great car, handles great and all and is a good price.
It just lacks that star power of you know what I mean.
Women are just not that impressed by a Nissan.
They do love Vettes and muscle cars though.
I have an S class AMG right now and to be honest they could care less, but when I drive my friends Hummer or 69 Camaro, they love them.

The Converj is cool, im a big fan of the idea bhind hybrid sports cars, I mean look at the BMW Vision ED thats cool but isnt a production car, the Converj looks production ready. I've been looking forward to the new XTS for some time... What did I think when I saw it? I dont know, maybe it'll grow on me, but the interiors cool though. The ATS could work, i mean there is potential.
Next Escalade, do you mean the GMC Denali XT Concept? Because thats a fantastic hybrid truck, whats missing is

gear ratios, and the fact that it shifts 10x faster than a human could. GM may not make the best manuals, but they have always been on top when it comes to automatics.

I would love to see the Cien & Sixteen in production but GM is minimising & cant afford bringing them out, what a shame, plus its been 6 & 7 years since their releases & we've seen nothing, so its highly unlikely

a CTS vs Ferrari F430, Lambo Gallardo, M5, Corvette Z06...who woulda believed a few years ago a CTS would destroy these cars in a drag...only other car that gives you this much bang for ur buck is the Nissan GT-R
