"Unfortunately a bad vehicle purchase can ruin someone's life, credit, and relationship."

You looked me right in the eyes when you said that haha.

This video just hit home. I just bought a V with a list of problems.

I mean these are all pretty easy fixes.
Blower rattle - swap to a solid isolator
Diff noise - There’s a whole TSB out there for it, really easy to fix just a bunch of fluid drain and refill
Engine mount - replace lol
Magnaride leaking - swap to coilovers

So do these cars just wear incredibly fast? I am more of a benz enthusiast but was looking at the cts v and i'm used to suspension components lasting 90k miles plus before they need to be swapped.

make it short motors great eletronics are iffy 10 years or older make sure everything works cant find a better more reliable motor but with the diff in tgem if you do burnouts or floor it alot especially from stops your diff will blow the stock diffs in these are like damn glass

Thanks for being truthful, just because it's an ATS v-series doesn't make it nice . Someone beat the snots out of this car, that's exactly what happens when you let someone drive it that doesn't care or balls the car or is just a piece of crap !

The exterior and interior of this car are very beautiful. This just goes to show you that you cannot judge a book by its cover or Its pages.

Someone finally tells the truth about car dealers. Thank you. It takes a car person to know what they are buying. Most people look at the paint, odometer and interior and call it good. If you are not a car person find and pay one before signing the marriage certificate. I went looking for a mountain roads secondary 4x4 for my old self to hoot around in. $2, 000 for a 20 year old garaged Ford Escape that was kept exceptionally clean and undented. The owner obviously took good care of it because at 190, 000 it is tight as drum and has great power and transmission. I lubed/ replaced any questionable part that turns or moves and now have $4, 000 dollars into a solid SUV that everyone else doesn't look at. But I know has another 50-100, 000 no car payment trouble free miles left in it.

Under 5k to self perform. Sorry, still a bargain for a 200mph grocery getter.
