I live in Australia, the box Hannah provided was from the Aussie equivalent of CVS, (Priceline) the prescription was on the box, I have had a similar prescription (ativan not vallium) and it states the prescribing physician, the date, the recommended dosage and whether to take with food, etc). Kate has discussed having ambien in her purse in season 2 I believe, possibly season 3. There is no way Hannah was rightfully fired.

It’s the fact that Sandy made it seem like this was cocaine she found that was just so out of line and when she was like “should we be following her she could be flushing stuff” I’m like really? Really? How disgusting do you have to be? You were fully aware of her panic attacks and anxiety she has medication TO HELP HER WITH IT and you want to treat her like she’s a druggy lunatic?! C’mon

Sandy is a horrible leader, and gets worse every year. She never thinks she is wrong either.

Hannah said she told Sandy she could get her treating Dr to send a letter detailing her need for the Valium. She also said she gave Sandy the box with the prescription printed on the label and when Sandy asked for the prescription again Hannah thought she meant the receipt from the pharmacy which she didn’t have, which is the clip shown of Hannah saying no to Sandys request for it in her cabin.

Sandy is the most interfering annoying captain in the history of the high seas, she constantly undermines Hannah, she berates people non stop, whats the point in having other ranks below you if you are going to overrule them all the time, take a chill pill.

The biggest issue with Hannah’s meds was that she didn’t register them with the boat. Sandy blew it out of the water and referred to them as her “drugs”.

Love captain lee. Sandy tried to diss him the other day and she just looked pathetic and jealous. Captain lee was trying to be kind in saying Sandy messed up.

Capt Lee my favourite of the Below Deck Capt....and he was very diplomatic on how he answered the question! There is a lot of different variables to take into account such as the position of the crew ( on a larger cargo ship all crew are considered safety critical whilst on a Superyacht only a smaller number would be key....but would include the ChStew as they look after the passengers). Also depends on WHAT the prescription is for, some you are not allowed to take (even with the prescription) if you are employed as crew. But as Capt Lee said you are not a trained doctor but the flag state give Captain lists of drugs that crew are allowed to take or not. There are a few other variables that need to be considered such as the which countries waters you are in as well. Lots of balls to juggle

Captain Sandy wasn't interested in hearing an explanation or see a prescription. The way she handled Hannah was cruel...follow her she might be flushing REALLY?!!!! This is Hannah for God's sake! Not a two bit junkie.
