Turnigy 9x - modifications and hacks. Part 1

Ugh, not sure what happened to the video format on this one....looked good here before uploading. And took almost 24 hours to render on my ancient computer so won't be redoing it too quickly. But I will look into redoing it with proper aspect ratio.

Just what the world needs, yet another Turnigy 9x hacking video! I really don't bring anything new to the table here...but it gives a view of how I work when I'm messing around with things. I didn't really need another radio, but my wife wants to learn to fly and HK had the Mode 1 versions on sale for $22 so I couldn't pass it up.

First 10 minutes or so are doing a Mode 1 to Mode 2 conversion, super easy. The rest of this is consumed by me taking my time relocating the antenna from the radio to the module to make it easy to swap modules but keeping the stock module usable. Would have been quicker if I had planned ahead...but that's not exactly my style :D
