If you have Er9x or Open9x firmware then all you need to do is re-calibrate. The differences are then handled for you in software.

Hi Marc. Great mod, just did it :) Do you know where to put your orange lead that u used on the knob button, if you where using both left pots?

Nice little stick, probably will work. No data sheet so cannot say.

if you calibrate the joystick on the potentiometer calibration, dont you get to full use of both end points on the joystick? great videos by the way, keep it up! :)

add resistor to pots to change the range of the sticks.

Not with the PS2 stick I used, the pots are not linear.

yes ive tried that, but when i pressed the knob the 9x rebooted....tried it twice, then desoldered....

Im going to attempt this mod, but with a few differences. Do you know if this joystick would work as a replacement?
