I think he believes this ultra casual persona makes it look like he’s not panicking because he’s “innocent” but he’s accidentally making himself look like a complete psychopath. Which is incidentally, what he is.

We are really stretching the meaning of mastermind here

Can he also be charged with about 403K counts of attempted murder by "boring us all to death" ugh...how could that investigator sit there listening that long

My dad is a combat vet and I’m 10000% sure he would bust through a solid concrete wall if he suspected my mom had tripped and fallen, let alone….

Absolute sociopath. Not only showing no shock and grief, chatting like he’s having a beer with a friend and laughing. A walking red flag. Oh that and, combat vet but to scared to go into his own home to check on his wife while armed.

Can not imaging my wife being missing and a dead person being found in the house while laughing away in interigation room. Nothing master about this guy

The way he weaves his ridiculous story. He thought hard about this story. He’s positively giddy.
Absolutely chilling.

I don't think I've ever seen somebody so obviously guilty from the moment they called 911 sat an an interrogation room.

The amount of laughing this guy does without even asking if his wife was the one shot is just bewildering

I’ve shed more tears over a cute puppy in a toilet paper commercial than this guy has over his deceased wife. So disgusting, ever heard of divorce?

I love how hard he was trying to impress the detective with his ridiculous list of guns and knowledge of them and the detective just wasn’t having any of it

As a retired Combat Medic (Army) with CMBx2, Purple Heart, and 40+ combat missions, I knew this guy was bullsh!tting because the hypervigilance you experience in theatre will make you come home and jump through the ceiling if your wife screams at a mouse.
Any thought of my family in danger will cause a hyperreaction. He could care less.
RIP

If I were this interrogator, I would've felt like I was in the Twilight Zone for the first 20+ minutes. "Someone was shot in your home" then the dude proceeds to discuss the last two days of his life in extreme detail without asking if his wife is alive?! What in the world

Dude had more passion talking about his gun collection and correcting the officer's spelling of them than passion about finding his wife/whoever hurt her.

So obvious. If someone told me my wife was shot and killed I’d break down right there on the spot. I would never just be like “oh okay, so that’s why I couldn’t get ahold of her”

“Life is not that dangerous” but his wife just randomly got shot to death for no reason. Zero emotion when he learned it was definitely her too.

Bro absolutely hated his wife. He can't even pretend to be sad. He comes across as being relieved over the fact that's she's dead. Wow!

My husband was watching this with me and said "damn I'm more upset than he is"

I love this interrogator. Very laid back and letting him fill in the gaps with silence.

For having a terrible short term memory this guy sure remembers literally everything about the past few days.
