Man, that's something. Lavoisiers were like the Curies. The original version. Antoine dominated the scientific world with his experiments and was paid for it with his life. Wonder if Ben Franklin met him while in France. Marie was a devoted wife who continued her husband's work. The Lavoisiers suffered greatly in the French revolution. Marie, the loss of her husband and father. She was spared from the guillotine.
