I really wish you would stop putting back pieces you love when there’s a little missing detail or a bit of damage eg the missing button you could’ve easily bought a few buttons and sewn them on

You can easily replace vintage buttons. There are button factories that have a great stash. If you can't find the exact match. You can replace them.

Only one button gone is a very easy and fun fix: take the button from the top sew it on the missing button, and find yourself a fun and pretty button to put at the top that matches the jacket! Boom! Now the jacket is even better too
