Chris and Eddie needed this, hopefully the more they talk it becomes obvious to everyone LA is their home 🤞🏼❤️. Finally a moment without Eddie's parents (mother specifically) controlling their relationship 😕.

Chris is now a teenager and well-raised by his father! Next episode, Buck arrives, puts some order in that house... and in the process, he takes them back to LA. And then we can continue with the rest of the team😊

Alright, theory time. Grandma (Eddies Mom) has been forcing the divide between Chris’s and Eddie.

Even when we first met them back in like season 2-3 they were always pushing for Eddie to bring Chris back to Texas, and now that Chris is there, she’s not going to let Eddie take him back.

I’m noticing Chris was happy to have Eddie at dinner versus how standoffish he was during their Zoom calls. My guess is that dearest Grandma was poisoning the well with thoughts of “if your dad really loved you, he’d be here in Texas with you”. And when Eddie showed up, it threw a wrench in to her plans.

It was blatantly obvious that she didn’t want Chris going to Eddies new house with how she didn’t want him setting up the PS5 there, and the fact that Chris had to Uber to his house instead of them driving him. I’m gonna lay money down now saying that she found out Eddie was driving for Uber and had Chris catch him in another lie to further drive a wedge between them.

This was really sweet. Glad they are on better terms. But I still think they need to talk more about HOW they got there; Christopher and how he felt about the whole 'Kim incident', why Eddie did it and how he was feeling, what the incident brought up for them. Only then can they truly move passed it. Then maybe Christopher won't be as disconnected from Eddie, and Eddie can stop feeling like a failure (which he's not).
Was hoping this episode would have ended with them talking, Eddie telling Chris the truth, that he can't get a job as a firefighter there but his old position at the 118 in LA is always still there for him. Then Chris would be like, "Well, then we should move back to LA so you can work there." WE as in, the both of them. Then there's just the matter of the house Eddie bought and they can eventually go back.

Wow!! Christopher is growing up so fast!! Also, this scene really warmed my heart. I thought he was done with Eddie for real at this point. Considering that he lied again. I think he realizes how much his Dad sacrificed for him. Amazing scene!! ❤️🫶🏽
