The name of Bern says the legend that it comes from bär, which means bear in German. These animals can be seen in semi-freedom on the other side of the river and are present on the coat of arms and the flag of the city.
The physiognomy of Bern is marked by the river Aare, which meanders, leaving the old city embedded within it. The main street is the Kramgasse, which leads to the famous clock tower. Although the streets parallel to this one are also important.

Zurich has a lot to offer, so take it easy, and select what you feel like the most. It has a pedestrianized historic center, called Lindenhof, which is worth exploring.
