Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a travelling van life family who self-converted their dream house on wheels - we now live full-time in our Sprinter van called Cooper as we do a full lap of our home Australia.

I love you guys! My wife and I are sitting here in our living room in Zürich, watching you tour our adopted homeland, remembering when we moved here with our toddler some twenty-one years ago from the US. A couple of kids later and a couple of decades in we've become Swiss citizens and we're never leaving. This is the best place in the world and it's so cool to see a young family discovering the same things that we fell in love with! (And, now our oldest daughter is doing her undergrad at the same university where Einstein went to school, so wow!)

You're right, 3 classmates of mine came to school by cable car every day.
Where I grew up I had to walk 2km down the hill to school and back up home, summer and winter (sometimes by sleigh).

I grew up spending my summers on a lake in northern Michigan on the outskirts of Gaylord. Gaylord is the sister city of Pontresina, Switzerland and all the architecture is designed to look like it's sister city. Every July they have Alpenfest and everyone dresses swiss for the week. There's a big festival in town all week with rides, booths for crafts and goods, food, a parade, and live music that sounded just like the festival you went to. What a wonderful childhood you are giving Hunter!!!
