There are three secret rooms in the White Palace in Hollow Knight. This video will break down where to find them all. I am not the best with the lore aspect of the three rooms but I still find them really interesting!

9:21 Actually the pale king just disappears when you return to the throne room. It's somewhat unsettling. It has nothing to do with cheats.

I followed your path today. At 7:14 when you drop down you can actually jump back up. I just jumped to the wall and bounced off from it back up. Thanks for the video though. Helps a lot trying to find all these secret areas :)

THEORY: The second secret room is actually the nursery room where the Hollow Knight grew up:

- The music has a somewhat nursery tone (the ones you use to make babies sleep).
- The chair was not for the king, but for the queen (the shadow in the chair has her characteristic roots).
- The chest is his toy chest.

I like how everyone refers the spells as abyss shriek and desolate dive since it proves how little you have the howling wraiths and how easy it is to forget descending dark.

You can, in fact, double jump up to the exit of pale king's workshop. I used the video to get there (I think this is the one spot I missed) and was able to jump high enough to wall jump off the lip of one of the walls to get back up

This lines up so beautifully! You have a decent amount of videos left if you choose to make them, and then (hopefully) Silksong will release sometime in 2021 and then you get a refresh of new content!

Tip: if you equip hiveblood and grubsong, you can die to spikes, recharge your health, then focus to get a new mask filled. You can cheese the entire palace that way.

I got to all the secret rooms thanks to your help Relyea. Also after you drop down from the kings workshop exit you can get back up and go into the room through the exit.
