I absolutely love stopping at Coppola winery just to walk around every time I travel from San Diego to Oregon. What a fabulous place. I also dropped off some books at the book box in the parking area. I’m also a fan of the 1937, Tucker. And the church pew bench by the restrooms. although I have a church with velvet seats that fled down which I absolutely love even better.

Doesn’t Coppola contradict himself by initially saying he didn’t want to do The Godfather but he did it because he needed the money, and then saying “I didn’t make movies to make money, I made movies because I loved doing it?” 🤔 Whatever, he is/was one of the very best American directors.

Sometimes you can just make a project that you just like, you don't gotta make your passion project *all* the time. Guess he didn't fw the name "passion project", but saying you're making one doesn't invalidate the stuff that isn't quite THAT important to the creator
