This is literally one of the best worship songs written. So anointed. From the perspective of Abraham it is great just putting in words all that he must have wrestled with. To not just put his son, Isaac, on the altar of mountain but his own flesh on the altar of his life with what God asked of him and to still trust God and His promises. Abraham believed God by faith. He was counted righteous. Patiently continued looking to the cross. Believed God through his seed he would be saved by Jesus Christ. When Jesus said it is finished, Saints arose from the dead. Matt 27:50-54. Abraham was part of this resurrection. Now as we Patiently continue believing in the work of the Cross by faith looking for the Blessed Hope of Jesus Christ to appear in the clouds. Titus 2:13 to bring the church to Him. Being changed to perfection and never sin against God again. Abraham had hope. I have the same hope in Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus Christ.
