Intractable Chronic Migraine & Occipital Nerve Stimulation (ONS)

Показать описание
Intractable chronic migraine has not responded to multiple treatment attempts, is present more than 15 days out of 30, and more than 30 minutes at a time. Occipital nerve stimulation (ONS) may give improved symptom control, can be trialled, may lead to significantly less medication use and side effect burden, and is fully reimbursed in Australia, where its use is approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
