Lots of folks have asked for more details on my pedestal table installation I put in my Airstream. Figured I'd combine those details with a longer term review. (Links to correct parts below.)

Plug strip under the dinette (nice fabric cord, and good size):

Here's the Springfield Pedestal I used:

Definitely closer to what I want to do, but still not any easy lift to bring the table up. Thank you for the video!

I did the same thing with table. But, i put a 1/8 plate under the floor where the pedestal is mounted. And used bolts and nuts. My friend just used screws. And on a rough road in South Caroline it broke at the floor. He left it up during travel.

I used 3/4 birch plywood. They make a screen edge trim that is 3/4 for unfinished edge.

Nice job. Thanks for the video. We have employed some of your modifications and also was wondering about the cup holders above the seating area and the white item on the wall near the door

Looking to do an adjustable pedestal as well, but in your video, you were raising it from the lowest position which appeared to be cumbersome. Was it a manual adjustable pedestal or the air-powered pedestal?

Hi Journeyman... Will the table rotate if you want it to? Meaning, will the pipe in the pedestal swivel so I can re-orient the top?

Hey I'm sorry I couldn't find an email or any other way to contact you besides maybe the blog? But I was unsure so hope you see this... I have a metal fab shop and I'm thinking about manufacturing a needed product but I want to make sure there is real interest ..we need something to fill that gap in the market .I've been asking as many welders and smaller shops home hobby welders and medium to small YouTube channels because that's my target consumer. I can make a real pro level fixture table an actual flat top up to 1' thick for 5x10 other sizes would also be availabile very quality table for under $2000 I've looked at every thing that I could get my eyes on in the 400-2000 range and it's almost all flimsy garbage..
If a table like this was on the market would you be interested in it?
