As promised, here is the full video recipe for this Italian classic, traditional and a must-have Christmas dessert. But … in a smaller muffin-shape version. With the same texture and aroma of the classic panettone, simply baked in smaller size, so you won’t need a panettone mold and it only takes 25 minutes to bake 😍🙌🏻 So many of you tried this recipe this week. INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
* 4 cups (500 gr) all-purpose flour
* 1 packet (7 gr) active dry yeast
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup (235 ml) milk, warm
* 4 large eggs
* 2 egg yolks
* 1/2 cup (100 gr) sugar
* 6 oz (175 gr) butter, soften
* 2 oranges, zest
* 3/4 cup (100 gr) raisins (or other dried fruit, or candied orange peel)
For the top:
* 2 egg whites
* 3/4 cup (100 gr) powdered sugar
* 1 cup (100 gr) almond flour
* 1/2 cup almond slices
