Caught this last night. Hard to accept this portrayal of the monkey king right after watching journey to the west 2013, but I believe this was more accurate captured his personality. DY acting was just as jet li's acting from the Forbidden Kingdom. Great movie Acton and CGI have come a long way in Chinese films.

I love how westerners saying this is gonna be bad, another action bullsh*t, bad CGI or just keep talking about League of Legends and Dragon Ball. Go Google up Journey to the West bros, I am Chinese and this is like our Lord of the Rings. The CGI looks great for movies like this in my opinion.
