Chicken pot pie 🥧

Finally, a fully enclosed pot pie, instead of just a dough lid over a baking dish

Recipe ⬇️

2 Chicken breasts
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp Cayenne
1 tbsp Lemon juice
Salt & pepper
1 tbsp avocado oil
*Air-fry at 400 for 10 minutes*

2 tbsp Butter
2 small white Potatoes
1 Yellow onion
1 Carrot
6-8 Garlic cloves
2 tbsp Flour
1 tsp Fresh Thyme
1 Rosemary twig
1/2 tsp Curry powder
1 Chicken boullion cube
1 1/4 cup Chicken broth
1 cup Heavy cream
Salt & pepper
1 cup Frozen peas
2x Puff pastry sheets
1 egg (egg wash)

*Bake pie in the oven at 425 for 25-35 minutes or until crust is golden*
*9” pie pan was used for this recipe*

Even though the frozen kinds come with a bottom crust, I never see anyone do a bottom crust in homemade recipes. Finally! 😱 It looks really good!

I made it last night, used more or less of the seasoning, substituted the chicken with a vegetarian friendly alternative and it was SO good, very impressed, so nice to eat on a cold day, felt cozy while eating and the flavors where rich and savory, everything a homemade pot pie needed, overall great recipe
