I literally scanned the whole nomination list for your and Shreya Jain’s name. The Cosmo awards have their own version of nepo babies that are nominated year after year. There is no inclusivity here. I was so excited to Mridul Sharma’s name. A really hardworking girl that posts great content REGULARLY but obviously she didn’t win. It’s about time some other brands starts an all-inclusive influencer awards.

This was long overdue! I’ve spoken about this on my IG page before …it’s always always always just Malvika sitlani and Kritika Khurana and and ppl like that who are actually quite tone deaf and oblivious to many real world problems in my opinion. I don’t even know how they even get nominated…how are they the best in the category if they don’t even know what the real problems are in the industry they’re in??

I started watching you when I was 14 (nearly 9 years now) because you were the only person on Youtube that was A) South Indian B) Dark skinned. There has always been that 'South' bias from Delhi/Bombay crowd - typical bubble, echo chamber types - I still meet people today in 2023 that are like 'so like Telugu and Tamil are they like... different languages or..?' Thank you for calling this out. This also extends to their non-inclusivity towards Indian Hijabi Youtubers. There is no Representation for Hijabi people at all! We've got all KINDS of "diversity" they say, but then a MAJOR chunk of India's population is not seen. Calling them out is the need of the hour.
