Hey it’s Abby Lee Miller here and welcome to the ALDC family! 🩰

In today's video, I talk about some recent press. I've said a lot of things over the years. But as proud as I am of Maddie, I must speak from the heart. My love is with my students always. And once a student, always a student.

This video has the same energy as when Abby was crying at Maddie asking why she didn’t come in to rehearsal when her mom was in the car.

There’s nothing wrong with Maddie accepting that she’ll be okay without you Abby….

Two things can be true at the same time. Did the show benefit the girls monetarily and push them into the limelight…Yes! Did the being on the show also leave them with traumatic experiences…Yes! Also let’s not act like she wasn’t also benefitting from this arrangement. Their feelings are also valid and although she helped push them into the limelight she is not the primary reason for their success.

Abby questioning Maddie's motives when she literally tried brainwashing an 8 year old against her friends and the moms. Telling her that she was the only one on her side who wants her to win and everyone else is evil.

you guys can not really blame maddie ...all the cast members have already stated how toxic the enviroment of dance mom was and as they grow they saw the affects it had on them ;after all they were just 9 years old kids who wanted to be famous

Let’s all remember that Maddie was just eight years old when her life was thrown into turmoil. We will never know what truly happened behind the scenes (Abby and the moms tell very different stories), but whatever the case is, all those girls went through something traumatic. The kid learned that she could literally do no wrong. That can’t be healthy. She also lost her very best friend. Were those things because of Abby or the producers? I don’t know. I’m just saying, let’s give the girls some grace. If they all say it was hell...there has to be some truth to that.

"i didn't say that" "why didn't she leave if it was so bad" & "I did so much for her" right out of the narcissist's play book.

Abby asking Maddie why she kept coming back as if she wouldn’t have held it against her if she left. That one episode where she sat in the parking lot and Abby literally cried in front of her and told a 8 year that she betrayed her NOT TO MENTION Abby literally told Maddie that the dance studio HAD to be her home. So NO Abby she couldn’t just decide to not come.

Why are you SO obsessed with this girl, it is actually blowing my mind how this OBSESSION has gone on since she was a SECOND GRADER. She is now an adult! Abby PLEASE move on! You were just waiting for an opportunity to talk at length about this girl again. Leave her ALONE! This is so incredibly toxic and it is embarrassing! You should be embarrassed!

Maddie didn’t say abby said the crown or trophy meant you were less, she said that that’s how the environment she was in made her feel and think.

And y’all bring up jojo all the time, Jojo joined dance moms knowing it was a reality show she knew it was for show most of the time. Those kids grew up with that camera in their face not knowing reality vs reality tv. That’s the huge difference

I do truly think Abby cared about Maddie but I really want Abby to watch dance moms again and see how she treated the other girls. Being hard and a strict teacher is completely different than screaming at 8 year old girls.

Notice how Abby makes everything about her. “I” “I” “I”. She wants everyone to feel bad for her but can’t see the stress and anxiety she put on young kids.

Because I’m in recovery from living with a person who has NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) - I can recognize the traits of one. I’ve never watched this show, but I can see this woman is one who has NPD. Those who have it - the world revolves around them, and it’s always someone else’s fault.

She’s mean. I can only imagine how she is in private.

This entire video just supports everything Maddy says. Thanks for making that easy, Abby

The world already knows you trained her but she’s the one who did all the hard work to get there. All the girls were talented but Maddie was gifted.

What did you expect? In their last episode, you barely acknowledge their departure...

I don't like Abby, but I can tell she's hurt. And I don't like seeing anyone hurt. That being said, Maddie owes you nothing. And I think once you realize this, it won't hurt as much. You need to realize that yes, you helped Maddie to get into the limelight, but her experience on the show left her with scars. She might grow older and realize exactly how to respond to this whole situation. But as it stands now, where Maddie is in her life, she owes you nothing.
