It's sad that poor internet connection caused the son to visit less

This Guy is.... TOO MUCH....! I LOVE.... his creativity. I just wish I had the money he has, then I would probably like to follow his lead...! Outstanding idea and I love his humble demeanor as well. Really cool cat, this Bro....! 😎

It's good to have neighbors to watch over each other just in case somebody is slipping not knowing their right from their left.

I've been playing with the idea of doing just that since quite some time.

I’d say using an airliner fuselage as a house isn’t anywhere near as crazy as it might sound to the ears of the uneducated. The emergency exits over the wings could open out onto nice terraces where the wings were. In fact, the wings and horizontal stabilisers could even be used as mounting points for solar panels, as off-grid power would be worth its weight in gold, given our current situation. Wiring is easily catered for by all the wires that would have powered all the aircraft’s many electrical systems and their backup systems. Plumbing would be mostly already there as not only are there pipes for the toilets onboard the aircraft, but also there are pipes for the hydraulic systems and their backup systems, so, by that token, you’ll have more plumbing than you’ll likely need. Then there’s insulation. It catches out many a greenhorn when it comes to DIY, resulting in houses being freezers in the winter and smoking hot boxes in the summer. The good news is that the insulation is already taken care of in an aircraft fuselage. It’s fabricated by none other than Boeing, Airbus, McDonnell Douglas, Lockheed, Tupolev or whatever company made the aircraft. Why’s that a good thing? That insulation is designed to keep everyone at a comfortable temperature at all times. If the aircraft is sitting on the taxiway for a long period of time awaiting clearance at a busy time in a hot climate everyone needs to stay cool, as the airport tarmac is obviously not sheltered. Likewise, at cruising altitude the aircraft is flying at an altitude upwards of 35, 000 feet. That’s the equivalent of a couple of Burj Khalifa towers higher than the summit of Mount Everest, and they don’t hang around up there either, as their airspeeds usually exceed 500 mph. That’s twice as fast as a Bugatti Veyron. To compensate by these extremes, the insulation has to be more efficient than that of a conventional house.

seems that only works at places with no winter? Heating up a plane that is not heat insulated might be a cost factor.

Amazing! Great job! Can you share how much that would cost of someone were to duplicate and would you sell your plans?

Genius idea😃👏👏👍👍 It's better than paying ridiculous high rents or paying mortgage if one can buy a house! Yes, I would definitely live in a plane, its beats being homeless out on the street, like some people who have to live like that do.

I love this. Great idea for a lot of people. Wonder how much it cost to buy the plane and redo for living???

Why not the complete fuselage for a bigger "house"? Looks weird without it.

I wouldn't go that far to have airplane as a house. Congrats to those who do but I don't mind getting a helicopter as my office on my backyard
