We'll learn formulas for the population mean and the sample mean as a way of getting used to the mathematical notation we use in statistics. Finally, we'll learn about how the three measures of central tendency are influenced by skew (e.g., outliers) in a dataset.

I didn't understand the median in that positively and negatively skewed curved shouldn't the median be at position 6 or7 or in between them cause the total numbers are upto 12
sorry if that feels dumb question to you I am pretty new to this concept
