Congresswoman: Surge in eviction notices

U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore says eviction notices in Milwaukee surged in the days between when a moratorium expired and when it was reinstated.

This is a horrible idea. People have needed assistance before the pandemic. This will roll onto taxpayers, homeowners, and new renters who eventually will have to pick up the tab.

What about the people who just doesn't want to pay rent and doesn't qualify for the rent assistance. The landlords won't get any money for those. Let the landlord get reimbursed for those and stop protecting those dead beats.
