Another Pro Tip: The torch can set off your smoke detector, not always, but I have in only five minutes on an existing kitchen I was doing. Have a heat gun for backup. SCC is the best in the business and I am immensely grateful for all the tutorials and fun they make it. Thank you all at SCC.

I have zero construction experience, female & partially disabled, but your vids make me think I can do this with just a helpful person. Going to use this vid to try to convince my Mom to let me do her countertop! 😬 No backsplash to bother with & not looking to do any special effects. Thinking just dark gray base with white & black “streaks” type design. Lots of cabinets, all white & currently white walls.

Pro tip wear two pairs of gloves it makes it super easy to change out without getting epoxy all over your tools just take the top layer glove off and change it out before touching anything

Mike ur vid was so entertaining. i do my countertop..i may quit my hvac buis and start selling countertop refinishing...well maybe a side thing..i love the anything is possible ideas..and the fact you sell kits to do certian patterns. Also no two will ever be alike..so many possiblities.. This is so cool. I watched this 3 times..oops.
