Quick clip from Baptist Pastor Charles Lawson preaching about the danger of cult like religious elitism, and my explanation of the dangers of TULIP theology and a couple of outrageous video clips from prominent Calvinist pastors Voddie Baucham and Paul Washer that highlight a major doctrinal error in Calvinism / Reformed Theology.

Love your quip: Dead people cannot sin either. Good point. They take it literal only when it suits them.

Love your content! We need to continue to raise awareness of the error and danger of Reformed/ Calvinistic doctrine and its consequences- the worse being that it maligns the very character of the God we serve!

I had the same thought about Pastor Charles Lawson's comments on cults - sounds like Calvinism.
In Matthew 18, Jesus doesn't seem concerned about which of those beautiful children were chosen from before the foundation of the world for salvation, and which of these little children were predestined to perish. He knows that, because of the cross, every one of them and all future generations of children, will be drawn to Him with the God-given ability to seek him, reach out for him, and find him, because he will never be far from each and every one of them. That’s the true gospel!
Thanks, Brian

After understanding Calvinism 2 years ago, my initial thoughts were that this completely "other gospel" has SO MANY features similar to cults...elitism, twisted view of Christ, only we "have the truth", etc., etc., etc., . I find it to be a very corrupt and dangerous doctrine. I love Calvinists, but simply 100% reject their MANY twisted views of scripture.

I don't recall ever listening to Charles Lawson before, though I most definitely had previously heard of him. So, Brian, after watching your video, I found the first sermon that popped up, titled, "The Church Marrying the World", and listened to it. I found it to be of what I'd describe as being a bit lighter than what I normally like from a sermon, but certainly nothing bad in it. Then at the end, the last three minutes, he said some things which I think need repeating:

"You're on a journey. People mean well. You come down to the altar and you pray. They'll say, "Now you're saved. You prayed the sinner's prayer." They mean well. They're trying to help you. But that doesn't mean you're saved. What may happen to you is that what's working inside your soul is the beginning of a drawing God. It's the of the light shining in your heart. You're realizing a need to be born again. But during this process, you haven't really come to the point to where you can exercise saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ."

"You call upon God out of a believing heart and at that moment He'll save you, write your name in the Lamb's Book of Life, and when that ever happens to you, you'll know it from that day forward and nothing will ever be able to change it and the Lord Jesus Christ becomes everything to you. Not your religion, not your church, not your pastor, not your leaders, but Christ, the Son of God, from that day you fall in love with Him and you'll love Him for the rest of your life. Have you been there?"

Those issues are some of the very most important for anyone who wants to be or professes to be a Christian. Do we have a "saving faith" instead of a dead faith? Just repeating a sinner's prayer, even if we mean it, does not automatically give us that "saving faith". Brian, I wish you would make more videos on what is that "saving faith" that Pastor Lawson mentions, because I fear so very many Christians have absolutely no idea what a saving faith is. I was one of those, who for decades professed to be a Christian, yet I lacked a real saving faith. My faith was merely a superficial asserting to the facts of who God and Jesus Christ were, having some sorrow for my sin, but not anything more, yet I thought it meant I was a Christian, because I once prayed the sinner's prayer.

In the second paragraph I quoted from Pastor Lawson, he seems to be upholding the P in TULIP - the perseverance of the saints, when he says, "you'll love Him for the rest of your life." And, based on my experience, at least so far, after becoming a true Christian, it seems to be correct. I cannot imagine ever leaving Him and not loving Him. Yes, of course I stumble often in my life, but never do I stop loving Him. And, as told to us in 1 John 5:1-4, "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."

If we ever stop loving God, it is proof that we never had a saving faith to begin with. And if we truly have a saving faith, we will love God, want to obey Him, and will continue in that love/obedience, albeit not always perfect.

Brian, you spend an inordinate amount of time on making videos opposing Calvinism. I only wish you'd devote a fraction of that time/effort on teaching about what is true saving faith, and how one can be assured that their life/heart bears fruit that is an indication that their faith as that true saving faith. I fear that countless numbers of professing Christians are heading to destruction, because they were told by some pastor that they're saved, because of a prayer they prayed, when they absolutely are not, just as I was.

For anyone reading this, if you want assurance of your salvation (if you have true salvation), or are willing to be convicted of your lack of real salvation, if that's the case, then read and read and read again 1 John until it really sets in and shows you your true heart. That's what I did after doubting my salvation for so long, and God, via His Word, showed me the truth, and I realized my faith was a dead faith, and in realizing that, came to a true saving faith in our wonderous Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We are all born with a sin nature. The age of accountability has a part to play in life. Babies are not accountable.

The irony is that Calvinists will agree with Psalm 139 that says God knits us together in the womb. In their world of theology he is knitting a despicable, evil, wicked sinner. Complete and utter theological lunacy and heresy.

I’ve been Christian since I was born and my parents have raised me in the ways of the Lord. Yes I have sinned many times but so does everyone and every Christian especially but I’ve always repented for that and followed Jesus. I for sure wasn’t a viper in a diaper. What Voddie Baucham and Paul Washer said about Babies is flat out evil and the audience laughing along is just sickening.

Voddie Bauchem and Paul Washer have some demented views of children. I like the other end of the scale of Catholics who imagine that their children are absolute angels and could never do anything bad. Yeah, the more I hear about Calvinism, the more I find it repulsive and should be exposed for it's darkness, and perverted perspective. Another good learning experience about Calvinism on this channel!!

I remember before I even knew about Calvinism I saw that viper in a diaper sermon and thought it was awesome. After understanding Calvinism it's the worst thing I ever heard.
Love your videos.
