Now we noticed that one type of Inhaled insulin is available in America and Western Countries which is called Afreeza Inhaled insulin. Is it available in Bangladesh and India? Is it eligible for type-1 diabetes children?

My 79 years old elder brother, who lives in USA, devolped type 1 diabetes 40 years back due to permanent damage to his pancreas caused by an antibiotic medicine. Besides that we have a family history of diabetes too. He is very particular about his diabetes management, but since last 1 year his blood sugar level remains at about 300 even after increasing the insulin units and changing the type of insulin with the consultation of his diabetologist. Earlier his blood sugar level was within the prescribed limits. Could you kindly advise as to why his body had stopped responding to diabetes control now? Is it due to insulin resistance?
