The commander of the Ukrainian military says Ukraine now controls around 1,000 square kilometres of Russian territory in the Kursk region. The revelation was made Monday in a video posted to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Telegram channel, in which the military chief briefed the president on the front-line situation. "More Ukrainian soldiers seem to have entered Russian territory, according to Russian sources," FRANCE 24's correspondent Emmanuelle Chaze reports in Sumy. "They have taken Russia completely by surprise."

Question is with very little lose at the Russian side other than a helicopter few tanks and vehicles. if Ukrainian side looses so many troops and equipment which are some of the best in few days is it worth it ?.
