Ranking All of The Koopalings
Ok so, the Koopalings have been around since Super Mario Bros 3. The Koopalings have been a major staple in the super mario bro’s franchise ever since then. They’ve gone through a lot of different changes. Either in appearance, or how they attack us in the Mario Bros series. But they’ve stuck around through all these years. And have made Super Mario Bros what it is today, and of course with a little bit of help from Bowser. But the way we’ll be ranking the koopalings in this video is by Their Gameplay mechanics. And we’re going by all of their forms in Super Mario Bros U. To make the ranking more fair, since back in the day you used to just fight Larry on a single platform in the middle of lava. It just wouldn’t be fair for some of the koopalings if we ranked past versions too, since their old battles lacked emotion and creativity. But we’re doing this ranking to find out the true goat koopaling so I’m going to try and remain unbiased. Before we get into the video. Make sure to subscribe for more quality gaming content and news. My birthday is coming up in a few weeks so let's get to 400 subs for my gift. But anyways, In this video I’ll be ranking all of the Koopalings for real.
Alright, the worst Koopaling in my opinion is Larry. So Larry is the most basic out of all of the koopalings. Now that’s not necessarily a bad thing, since you need simplicity in Games. But None of his battles really have anything too special to add to the table. And Mario Bros U is a big example of that. The geysers in this battle don’t really add anything too special for Larry’s battle. They lift you and Larry off the ground…….. And that's about it. Well actually one thing that does bring some difficulty to this battle, is when Larry shell spins into the geysers. Because the geyser’s give him a little bit more momentum, and he goes upward a little bit. So it gives you something kinda hard to dodge. And of course Larry does his classic Blue magic projectiles. They’re not the hardest projectiles to dodge compared to the rest of the koopalings on this list.
The next Koopaling was really close to being in last place, but made this spot by a hair. And that Koopaling would be Lemmy. So Lemmy is one of my favorites by design, but his battles are disappointing…… So in this battle, Lemmy Balances on his signature bouncy ball that he’s always on. And that brings some challenge of landing on his head, because if you don’t land right on his head. you just bounce into outer space. To make his battle even harder they gave him bouncy ball bombs, dang thats a tongue twister to say. But anyways, they have a pretty decent bounce to them. So dodging them can be a challenge, because they go all over the place. And while you're dodging bombs and trying to land on Lemmy. He has this annoying charge move he does on his bouncy ball that's so frustrating. I swear everytime he does it I always get hit. His height is just ridiculous because of his bouncy ball. He's just an overall chaotic boss battle. And that fits him perfectly. Because they portray him as the baby in the koopaling family. So Lemmy gets some bonus points for effort.
Roy is next up on the list of Koopalings. He’s one of my favorite looking Koopalings. I really love his pinkish color tone, and his shades are super tough looking. But it hurts me to put him in this spot, because his design is so creative and awesome. But the next koopalings coming up on the list give Roy a run for his money. But anyway, his battle seems pretty difficult on paper, but in reality it's not the hardest boss fight. The platforms do bring some challenges when trying to land on Roy’s head. Especially since Roy jumps all over the place on the platforms. And the platforms do move decently quick. But they’re probably the hardest thing about Roy’s boss fight. His Bullet Bill launcher is pretty disappointing, mainly because the bullet bills are so slow. Now if they made them a lot quicker, and made them the homing Bullet bills. Then Roy would probably be 2nd on this list. But he’s one of the best looking Koopalings, so I’m kinda disappointed he’s this low on the list. But that just shows not to judge a book by its cover.
Morton is the biggest one of the koopalings. And has a very insane design. I really love his Colorway, the black and white mesh so good on him. But anyways, his Boss fight is one of my favorites in the whole franchise. It's right on the middle of the line for Easy and difficult. Because the pokey’s he bats are pretty big projectiles, so that makes them a lot harder to dodge then most projectiles. And to make that even harder, he does this one jump where he slams the ground, and it stuns you for like 10 minutes. And it's a cheap way for him to hit you with a pokey. But if you’re good enough to stay alive until he hits all of the pokeys.
