Thanks. I am a truck driver who gave up sugar, so while driving if I need a snack, black olives is one healthy go-to.

Hi there..thanks for the informative video. I have recently bought bottled black olives (brand name Oolicoop) from Amazon.in These are preserved in brine. I have opened up the bottle and to taste a few, washed thoroughly with water. But all tasted bitter !
Can you please suggest if these are low quality olives ?

The amount of olives in a jar I’ve had to throw away because I wasn’t able to use them within a few days was hoping there would be answer for them…Why can’t you use the same method of putting them in fresh brine like with the tinned ones???

Thank you. I recently came across some sliced black olives packaged in large bags, the kind that restraunts use. Can I just freeze them in their own juice? Do I need to drain that juice and freeze them in water.? Seems like adding salt to the water is like the brine that they are packaged in. I may be all washed up about that. I am just trying to make sense of all this. Thank you for any info you can give me. I can't eat a whole bag of these olives. Actually I probably could but I really shouldn't .
