686 mittens and gloves are well made. 686 has good prices on gloves. I own 2 pairs. Get 20k or gore-tex insulated gloves or mittens. I use both. On what kind of shredding I'm doing. Weather and temperatures. Own 2 pairs gloves and liners

Just bought some leather Dakine mits. Goretex palms. Wool lined. Can’t recommend that wool lining enough.

outdoor master helmet google combo ($59) + their mittens with wrist strap ($24) for less than $100 and you're all set with accessories.

Granted you could thrift it for less but I'm not keen on getting those specific items used.

I jump between mitts and gloves but only cold days i see are not that bad. I like mits but gloves can be practically better.
