Thanks for that video. Last week I had a patient with a bleeding from his head, man he lost so much blood from that vessel. I remembered this technique and successfully stopped the bleeding

If you don't mind me saying, a hemostat clamp at the tip of severed artery would be very helpful to keep the field clean while placing sutures and to prevent unnecessary blood loss (blood vessel was secured after exactly 35 seconds of profuse bleeding).

Nice video! But I have a question. What if we cant see the point of bleeding? In some cases i were unable to locate the vessel causing the bleeding so I need to inject Tranexamic Acid first and observe the patient. Thank you

Ok but what if and I'm just saying what if, you didn't have dissolving sutures and only had say silk or nylon. Is it better then bleeding out ?
