are all belts universal? i mean, if i had two bikes that were belt driven could i just buy two random belts and it would work for both?

Great well thought through video. I dislike chain drive because of all the maintenance required and love shaft-drive because it is no mess no fuss. I ride shafties by choice esp. BMW because they are mostly shaft-drive and easy to service, with 20000Km oil drain intervals on the final drive. I have also have had Yamaha shaft drive (XJ900S) and found their system simple and effective.

Good explanation. But what to choose? As if you could change the design of the bike you bought. Or else youll be purchasing bike just opting what final drive you want

Thanks for this valuable information, although I already knew most of this information I have 2 bikes, one belt and the other shaft Like another viewer, I hate chain drive maintenance I did need your assistance on something, if you happen to have the answer I'd like to purchase a 3rd bike, a more nimble and sporty one, so if I get a chain drive bike, do you know any shops in the San Francisco CA area that do conversions from chain drive to belt drive? Believe, I tried all the resources, and have had no luck I'd appreciate your help on this Thanks and have a good one
