You forgot the three weeks of anxiety it took to even make that phone call in the first place lol

I only talk on the phone if I can wander around town because I can't talk and sit still.

When you get on a phone call and use Bluetooth and then somehow FINALLY do the dishes you've been putting off for 6 hours 😅

LOL yup! Sitting down to have a conversation in general without some form of hyperactivity (physical or mental) is just not how I operate.

And when other sounds are happening at the same time it's a war. Like other people talking while I'm on the phone just grinds my gears

It's sooo true! It's like my brain needs my body to move so it can move and think properly too 😂

My ex used to get so mad that i would sit on the couch to play a video game for an hour without moving but immediately start walking around the entire house as soon as my phone rang

Love this video!

There are many reasons why ADHD symptoms show up for so many people. As someone who has lived with ADHD all my life as well as being an ADHD therapist and a parent with ADHD children, I help people understand why we think, feel and behave the way we do. There is an answer!

There are many more ways to treat ADHD other than being diagnosed and given medication. Other ways to help understand who you are and how to nurture those qualities.

More importantly, there is nothing wrong with us! In fact no two people in the world are alike. We are all unique individuals and that is why my mission is to help people discover their unique gifts.

Go discover your gifts!

This is the best ADHD video. I have seen the entire time. I’ve been on YouTube shorts. This is completely true. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m laughing so hard because this is how I am! I do not like labels, but I have every symptom of ADHD and I have been off medication for six months after being medicated for over 10 years and for the first two months it was pure hell I thought I was going to die, but I’m learning how to cope. I have learned to control my anxiety manage my emotions and stop my explosive outburst. I have became my own best friend, through my self into self-help neuroplastic techniques is what changed me! Along with building a connection to a higher power, different 12 step programs, helping others, building a solid foundation for support,
Reaching out, the list continues.

My pain in my trauma controlled me my entire life which led me down the road of addiction, and I have been clean for several years, but was very miserable until I came off my meds and started working on myself.

Learning acceptance is really being a big part of my recovery…

You can change! I know it doesn’t feel like it and I’m 32 years old just now figuring all of this out. I really hope this helps somebody.

Our brains don’t control us…we control it❤

ADHD is one of the disorders in the DSM that the authors have totally confused folks with. People have no idea that there are three different "presentations" of ADHD, one being "inattentive" type without hyperactivity. Another is "combined" type, meaning both inattentive and hyperactive, yet these are all called Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. So you can be diagnosed with ADHD without being hyperactive despite the word hyperactive being in the name. Confused? Don't blame ya one bit.

I didn't even get this at first... I was like "who just sits there on the couch? People do that?" 😆

lmao the walking around everywhere in the house lifting anything in the process causing it to dissapear later after the call and literally sit down, up, sit go up and walk around. Thats literally me every single time i talk on the phone with anyone lol

When I'm on the phone I do laps around my house. Sometimes I do a figure eight between the island and the kitchen and the dining room table.

I also do this thing where while I'm doing that I will ski free my hand over the chairs and tables endlessly until the phone call is over.
