One unique thing about this ipad is that since 2013, the 9 is the only one with a home button and black bezel even when not optioned with space gray. Starting with the mini 1 and air 1, all ipads with the classic design have white bezels if not optioned in space gray

I got this iPad as an alternative not a month ago when my headphone jack broke on my iPad eight. When I went to Best Buy, they told me that it was time for me to get an upgrade anyway so it was perfect timing that I came to get this iPad. My favorite feature of the iPad nine is the battery life. Battery life is absolutely amazing on it! It’s lasted me basically all night running videos on it while I slept from a single charge and when I woke up in the morning, it was only at like 80 something percent. Amazing! My phone doesn’t even do that and it’s an iPhone 11. Also, I love how slim my new iPad is compared to my old one. It’s a lot more sleek and it fits into open style case is much more easily than my old one. I also my other favorite part about this iPad is the storage space hole because it is 64 gigs versus 32. It’s the same number of gigs is my phone. As somebody who is blind and autistic, it works really well for me and it’s an amazing iPad! I can’t say enough good things about it! And I’ve only had it for months! Kudos to Apple for A3 iPad!

Helpful thanks. I'm upgrading my iPad mini 4 (2015) basic model to the 9th Gen for £426 incl the pen! After comparing w the air there's not much in it but a big saving! Knowing how long these tablets last I'm sure the 9th Gen iPad will be with me for another 7 years!

I was looking into an M2 MacBook Air, but I realized for less $$ I can get both a Mac Mini AND an iPad. For a student, the base iPad is a great value especially on sale for $269.

Love it as a portable, reliable, fast tablet. Pity we can't get Stage Manager, but the use case possibilities are much less than on an ipad Pro. Boots quickly, fingerprint always works, occasional bluetooth connection problems with an external speaker, but wifi is very strong. Screen is great, apps are mostly good, though sharing is not as widespread as on Android. Love that I can cast directly to my Apple TV box. Very good value for money, I'd say.

The ipad 9 has almost the same specs as my 2017 ipad pro except the screen, faster cpu/gpu, much better front camera with center stage, use the same keyboard and pencil. The 2017 ipad pro battery degraded a bit but still working fine for almost 6 years.

Good review, I believe the nice front facing camera with the price tag is based on 9th gen released during school lockdowns and it was for function & affordability.

These are selling for $249 on Amazon and I opened an account with their CC bank which included an $80 “gift certificate” that was immediately available for use. So it’s costing $194 plus change. Typing this on an iPad Mini 2 that is testing my patience. Should be interesting to see how far iOS has come since 12.5.7.

Okay the biggest part is that, it has most practical design and audio jack I still feel while gaming, wired headphones are superior unless you buy 50 times costly air pods or gaming pods..

On sale for $269 at best buy. I might grab one for me and one for my father for Christmas. I got my dad one years ago and he uses it every day. Definitely gonna get him an upgrade this season

I am still really happy with mine perfect size not too big not too small haven't used it heavily though because I seem to use my phone more but this Ipad is very good for watching YouTube videos
