For those who haven’t gotten to that part yet Owen was in the army and has trauma so when he looks at moving stuff that looks like blade or anything triggers his memories then something happens this time the fan was on when he was sleeping next to his gf Cristina and it looked like blades so something got triggered and when Owen was sleeping he started chocking Cristina because he was dreaming that was an enemy. This was on accident so Cristina forgives him.

If owen wouldn't have treated her badly she might have been okay with being a mom with him being the dad. He knew what she went through, does he not understand how traumatic it was for her. Unlike christina she wanted kids but she saw her son dying and she was a drug addict. Her changing mind is completely fine.
