I'm so glad you didn't use the Turkish loan word Dolma but instead you used Sarma. It really annoys me when people call it Dolma. Sarma means wrapped, dolma means stuffed. I visited Belgrade in the early 80s and it's an underrated country. You've done more for Serbia and Serbian cooking than anyone in history. Keep up the great work. This is truly an original, high quality channel. It's the best cooking show online and thanks for sharing it.

My Serbian Auntie made the best Sarma with smoked Bacon & Homemade salami. Once i started to eat it i could not stop wanting more. A real delicious comfort food that made me feel great after eating it

We make this in Romania also and it's called "sarmale", it's one of our country's most popular dishes :D and we eat it with sourcream and polenta! Nice to see this on your channel!

Amazing channel! In Poland we have similar dish called "gołąbki". There are some differences: we use fresh white cabbage (cooked for a few minutes to roll easier), and inside of the leaves we put raw meat (pork, mostly) and cooked rice. And we often add some tomatoes to the sauce (but not always). It's good to see something similar in other nations cousines ;)
