The kid with the sax is the EXACT reason these programs need to be a standard in schools everywhere. THis kid is motivated and excited to learn and play. Take that away from him he wont have much else to keep him out of trouble probably.

The city worker lady is amazing,
she actually drove me home 2 nights ago when I was drunk, lost my friends and my phone was dead I had 0 way of getting home. I gladly paid her for her help, never thought I’d see her again. This is pretty surreal to see we need more good people like her in the world.

Peter is the kind of guy to walk up to the city worker and tell him how good of a job they are doing respect man don’t see a lot of YouTubers doing that !

This is why I enjoy your videos, no matter how polarized the environment you treat everyone with respect and let their voices be heard. Glad that SF is cleaning up and hopefully not just on the streets.

These simple interactions between people are one of the few things and give me hope in humanity.

Calimate. Man what a young spirit. There’s something in that kids demeanor that will take him so damn far if he’s got guidance and great people around him. Speaking greatly to people he’s never met. A young honesty to people he’s never ever met and you can tell he listens. I pray for that kid for his safety and his love for his craft.

You always bring positive people with positive vibes

My french self absolutely adores watching Americans talk. You guys are so open and generous with your answers. ❤️

It always amazes me how open Americans are. Some random dude with a camera asks you really personal questions and people tell their life stories. And they make jokes and remarks with other rando's they see on the street.

In Europe (or in The Netherlands at least) you're lucky to get a "good day" back when you greet someone in the cities.

That kid on the sax in the park, that was touching. Restores faith in the youth 🎉

I grew up in San Francisco - 25 years in the Mission District & now I live in New York.

Great content, i had so many memories watching this. Memories in every single neighborhood you showed. That kid with the sax was awesome.

I was born in San Francisco. I miss it. The neighborhoods, Golden Gate park, fresh sourdough, cable cars, the fog, art, ballet, Candlestick park, riding my bike across the Golden Gate bridge, everything San Francisco! Thank you for the memories!❤

Calamate needs all the encouragement you can give. He's fighting an uphill battle but you helped him show himself for a moment and it was awesome. I'm not religious at all but that was a very pure thing of beauty and things like this make me think the USA still has hope

Bay Area and SF resident - thank you for making this video. Covid and drugs have really set back much of America - it is great seeing the resilience of SF and the greatness of SF. Cheers.

"It's not compassion letting people rot away on the streets." Exactly. Great video. Thank you.

Thanks for capturing SF as it is, with the good and bad. Your reflection of the city is spot on.
