Earth and live wire is the same wire? I thought the brown wire is a live wire and not a earth wire?

If you have 2 identical wires, please use a 2pin plug if you can't tell which is "Live" wire (where the brown went in video). Please be safe and google/Youtube some more if unsure, wish you all well!

Nope subtitles made mistakes, even his advice is wrong, only thing right is the video.

Red/brown is Live
Black/blue is Neutral
Green/ yellow green is Earth

In case of 2 wires, same colours just skipping earth. In case same colour 2 wires (like someone asked here), I recommend 2 plug pin as switching those is fine. Wish you well!
