The Hidden Dangers of Using The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner on Underarm Skin

Using "The Ordinary" toner on the underarms may pose potential long-term dangers. Firstly, the underarm skin is more delicate than facial skin. Given that The Ordinary's glycolic acid toner is a potent exfoliating product with a low pH, it may not be suitable for underarm application, risking disruption of the skin's natural barrier and subsequent irritation. A significant concern is the preservatives in the toner, which, while safe for topical use, have not been thoroughly studied for long-term absorption in areas like the underarms. Continuous use in such regions might raise health concerns. Therefore, it's advisable to stick to using “The Ordinary” toner for its intended facial application.

Hi can I use this on my arms? I have some bumps from the sun I think and the lower side of my arms is a little darker than the upper.
