I think if the Head Stock doesn't fall off of it within the first week of owning it it shouldn't violate copyright laws

I have a Japanese Fernandes Les Paul I bought 30 years ago. Great quality.

My God is that a beautiful sounding guitar. No wonder Gibson wants them banned! Awesome!

This man really has 'THE GIFT' when it comes to putting ideas across, if he isn't famous - he should be.
Thank you.

Japanese guitars, and i hate to say it, are the best in the world. You can tell that their culture of loving their craft comes through in their product.

Ive never tried one of those sustainers, so i had no idea it would work in clean mode. That is the coolest part of the video to me, I thought it only worked with distortion or I assumed that was the case. Very very cool.

The store I used to work at (UK) used to sell them. Holy cow are they great instruments!
We had a gold top at one point that is literally the best Les Paul I've ever played.

I worked at Fernandes Guitars for 3 years as a National Sales Manager. Owned a few Burny brand that they make...and they are phenomenal instruments.. Reverb has a few Japanese retailers that sell direct to the USA. I'd recommend everyone to give them a test drive!

Dude, that guitar is beautiful and you made it sound really good. I was never a Gibson fan. The necks are too thick for my hands. I’ve only ever owned Jackson’s and one Schecter. But you tempted me into getting that guitar for a minute there. Congratulations on adding another beauty to your collection! 🤘

These electronics give the chords such a unique timbre. I may very well be getting one in the near future. Great review as always.

I’m blown away by the sustainer system. Never knew anything like that existed

Supply and demand. Greedy Gibson can suck it. This guitar looks and sounds rock solid!

Guitar MAX was arrested shortly after this video

Reminds me of my 1977 Ibanez Rocket Roll Senior - one of the last serial #'s before Gibson sued. I still have it. That axe has been around.

Just bought my first Fernandes superstrat HSS... I remember reading about them in a huge guitar catalogue book that covered guitars from Fender to smaller more obscure brands. And now I'll finally have one once it arrives :)

I'm stuck pondering 3:19 "Literally infinite sustain". After my bones crumble to dust the note keeps ringing!

This was a great review. I think here in Australia we can just buy them off the shelf. At least we could in the past. I remember a guitar shop in Perth with many of these on display. That was before i realised what a quality guitar was (a few years ago now). I may see if they are still available. Thanks for the heads up. Rock on Bro.

Really nice intro, I love it. The Japanese really crushed the market a few years back with very close approximations of Fender and Gibson guitars. If you know the history of the market, and most people do, Fender basically gave it all away to the Japanese. I have a Tokia Strat, style guitar made in the 80's that rivals my 62' USA re-issue by Fender. They continue to still make nice stuff, but under their own brand names, like ESP for example.

That's steve hackett signature guitar (original guitarist from genesis in the 70's...yes the Phil collins/peter Gabriel band) he still tours and that was his Sig fernandes/burny made for him

Some of the best Stratocasters I’ve ever played have been Fernandes. I’ve played some Burny LPs that were great too, I always thought the “Super Grade” logo on the old ones that looked like Les Pauls signature was pretty slick.
