Why did God command Abraham to sacrifice Isaac? Doesn't God hate child sacrifice? - Podcast Ep. 210

Why was Abraham willing to sacrifice Isaac? If God already knew what Abraham would do, why did God still ask Abraham to do it? Doesn't the Bible say that God hates the very idea of child sacrifice?

God provide the sacrifice in the end, just like He gave His One and Only Son to save His people from their sins.

God doesn’t need to test man in such grotesque ways He already knows what we would do before we do it. Sacrifice is of primitive man not of God. God is so infinitely good and we are failing to know the Father and His goodness. Ya know the only ones who practice human sacrifice today are the Satanists and the Luciferians, the wicked. How could we even think God would be down for such abhorrent things?! I’m not giving my life up for a God of this nature! And I know this is not God. It’s all we’ve known so we continue to defend it rather than evolving out of this primitive thinking. It’s a primitive man thing and a Satanic worshipping thing, not a God thing. It’s time we start using common sense and not being afraid to let go of old beliefs that no longer serve us.

Not middle aged. Abraham was around 125 years old, and Issac was not a todler. He was around 25 years old. This was God's demonstration of the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ, His Son, who was to be the sacrifice for the sins of the world.

I appreciate you guys trying to spread the gospel but this is wrong,
1.Isaac wasnt young, abraham made him carry the wood and the fire for the offering.
2.Abraham did indeed think that he was going to sacrifice his son and WAS prepared too genisis 23 verse 10&11&12 “”(10)Abraham stretched forth the his hand and took the knife to slay his son. (11)And the angle of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said here i am” “(12)And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me”
