U.S. President Joe Biden on Wednesday promised a peaceful transfer of power, a day after the U.S. Presidential elections which saw Donald Trump defeat Vice President Kamala Harris.
Speaking at the White House, Biden called on Americans to accept Trump's victory, and vowed an orderly transfer of power.
During a congratulatory phone call to Trump, Biden also said he promised to direct the entire government to work with his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transfer of power.
The U.S. president also called the recent election honest, fair, and transparent.
