I remember growing up and my mom/Dad having a wooden 2 drawer compartment that had (silver)ware in it. Thanks for sharing and bringing back memories ❤😅.

Stunning! The case itself is a treasure. Everthing you show on your channel is magnificent. Out of my reach, but that's fine. I can still admire the beauty and craftsmanship. I'd love to know the people who owned this and to see their home.

The "egg cup" is a sucrier for sugar. Above it is a Samovar stand upon which a metal one would be placed for coffee. The cups wuth glass inserts are for after dinner coffee. The other biys on top are knives for cheeses. One spoon like one is for blue cheese or stilton. Again served at the end of a longer formal meal. Knowing Faberge the glass is likely leaded crystal. This was designed likely for a Russian client.

What people don't get is the Faberge Eggs were only made for Tsar Nicholas.

The more decor in the silverware the harder it is to polish. Yes the decor hides the wear and tear but it is also torture to get the polish back out of the engraving decor.

Родители Питера Фаберже были ювелирами из Франции и Германии, так что неудивительно что Питер родившись в Санкт-Петербурге, продолжил их профессию. Так что яйца и другие ювелирные элементы Фаберже это не русское изобретение.

I love your information but it doesn't go far enough, who and where is it from, and who was it for?

All this enjoyed by Tzar Nicolai and others near his rank, while hords and hords of citizens wallowed in poverty and starvation. Well, we certainly know the rest of the story don’t we!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
